“Digital Natives is an interdisciplinary collaboration of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society at Harvard University and the Research Center for Information Law at the University of St. Gallen. Our aim is to understand and support young people as they grow up in a digital age. Within the project, we make use of a variety of methods to investigate a range of themes pertaining to young people and their use of technologies. Our outputs range from academic publications to hands-on legal, educational, and technological interventions.”

Superstar: The Karen Carpenter Story (1987).
Todd Haynes created this 45 minute story of Karen Carpenter’s life using Barbie Dolls. He was sued by Karen’s brother for copyright infringement and lost the case. The film was removed from circulation in 1990.

Radiohead holds remix contest »
“The thinking then, which in some ways is being borne out now, was that the age of passive reception of art is on the decline; in the future we’d all be participating in some way…The latest band to join in on this idea is arguably the most creative and forward-thinking major rock band working today, Radiohead.” In April 2008, the band announced, “To celebrate this week’s single release (we still have those in England) Radiohead have broken up the song ‘Nude’ into pieces for you to remix.”
You can buy separate component tracks from certain songs to use as you like. The band set a challenge for the best remix. Here are some results:
